Registration policies
QoMEX 2024 adheres to the following registration policies:
- Each attendee must register separately.
- Each accepted full, short or demo paper must have at least one author with full (non-student) registration by May 26, 2024.
- Full (non-student) registration may cover up to two papers. The second paper requires at least an additional student registration (proof required). The student needs to be the first author of the second paper and must attend the conference.
Registration process
The registration process consists of the following steps:

- Shortly (within 1-2 working days) and depending on your choice of payment, you will receive: a) a specific payment link to the webshop of the host organization BTH, or b) an invoice with payment details.
- Please use the provided link / account information to complete your payment.
- You will receive both confirmation of the registration and invoice by email.
Please observe that BTH can only charge in local currency (SEK). The exchange rates have been chosen accordingly.

Each keynote and demo participant registration includes:
- Admission to all keynote talks
- Admission to poster and demo sessions
- Coffee/tea breaks
- Welcome reception
Each remote participant registration includes:
- Remote (online) access to all keynote talks, via Quest 2/3/Pro headsets or screen
- Remote access to hybrid experience demos
Other registration policies
To be eligible for the early registration fee, the registration request must be made by May 26, 2024, for all types of papers. Registration payment must be made in full by May 30, 2024. Registration payments after the corresponding date will be charged with the late registration fee.
Participation of accompanying persons to the conference banquet is possible at a cost of 150 EUR. Participation of accompanying persons to the other social events (welcome reception on Monday evening and after-party on Thursday evening) is possible at an extra cost. Participation in the traditional Swedish midsummer celebration on Friday afternoon will be organized on site.
Registration changes
If you have already registered and you want to modify your registration (e.g., change registration name) please send an email to markus.fiedler@bth.se and lea.skorin-kapov@fer.hr with your registration details and any modification request.
Cancellation/Refund policy
Cancellations must be made in writing by email to markus.fiedler@bth.se and lea.skorin-kapov@fer.hr. Cancellations will be subject to a processing fee of 20% of the due amount until June 10 2024, and 100% afterwards.
Author no-show policy
IEEE reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference (e.g., removal from IEEE Xplore) if the paper is not presented at the conference.
QoMEX 2024 requires that each accepted paper be presented in person by one of the authors or a qualified substitute according to the schedule published in the technical program. Any paper accepted into the technical program, but not presented on-site will be withdrawn from the proceedings published on IEEE Xplore.
